Anti Grandpeople's designed Rumble in Rhodes latest album. Its quite refreshing to see music packaging these days since its somewhat rare to see. The design reflects the music "old fashioned punk/fun, art rock, 70's progressive rock - indie rock" and I love the rich colors and texture look the entire packaging has.
"THEY FOUND A WAY TO ADHERE TRADITIONAL NOTIONS WHILE STILL APPLYING SUN-DAPPLED PSYCHEDELIA. IT MATCHES THE MUSIC AND HOW IT OPERATES ON DIFFERENT LEVELS AT THE SAME TIME.. BUILDING A MASSIVE WHOLE
- Thomas Brattlie, Rumble In Rhodos"
"GRACE. Rumble in Rhodos have fused a fascination of old fashioned punk/funk, art rock, 70’s prog rock, and modern indie rock into an expression which shakes your core and gently caresses the small of your back. They´ve added to the already ambitious and pulsating effort, a calm and balance needed to communicate the album’s ingenuity."
NUANCE. While crafted in a cheeky and daring way, it shocks as it delivers. Rarely does a rock record from Norway, resonate so thoroughly. So, look out for this unusual breath of northern air, as Rumble in Rhodos release their fourth consecutive album."
"It’s rare to see music packaging these days, so I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon Anti Grandpeople‘s recent work for Rumble in Rhodes. The packaging was created for the second single from their upcoming album, “Grace and Nuance”. The design reflects a sound that they describe as “organic post-punk and dance-rock inspired… with a feel of home-made sustainable romance.”
