Figure Libre

Fanakalo recently completed wine label design for Domain Gayda in France called Figure Libre.

Figure Libre is a wine based on our philosophy of pioneering a new approach to winemaking, viewing things from a new perspective, free from the constraints of convention and the straightjacket of conformity. These grapes come from an eclectic mix of vineyards throughout the Languedoc where the respect for “terroir” is paramount.

In a traditional wine bottle, Figure Libre label is hand-drawrn illustration of a man falling from the skies onto the file of wine – literally taking “Figure Libre” (Free Figure) into actual label design. The different type of wines is separated by colors adding a simple touch to the wine selection.
