Square's Business in a Box

We wanted to ensure that the box design reflected the diversity of businesses that use Square and the different ways these merchants configure their countertops. That's why on each side of the box we have a different illustration panel. This shows the true diversity of the merchants who use Square.
Consistency and modularity within the box were also important to us. We wanted to ensure that regardless of whether a merchant orders the Paperless or Printing option, they would all see the same signature Business in a Box packaging.
Another cornerstone of Square is our simplicity. We offer merchants incredibly simple pricing and we bring that simplicity to everything we do, including packaging design. That's one of the reasons we chose colors, rather than numbers, for our label system: to make things simple for businesses. The colors correspond to the hardware set up instruction guide, which is included in the box."

"Our challenge was to create a box that was both beautiful and practical to hold Square's latest offering: Business in a Box for Square Register, which offers businesses all the hardware needed to run a business in one convenient and affordable package.
