Greg Lauren has gained international attention for his stylized approach to fashion. Drawing on his training as an Artist, Lauren blurs the lines between art and fashion and, through his collection examines personal identity and traditional roles in society.

To create a true reflection of the Greg Lauren brand, Lauren worked with Master Perfumer, Ralf Schweiger, to develop a completely unique fragrance. With notes of Tonka Beans, Vanilla and marine notes, the scent delivers irresistible sensual emotions. Ralf Schweiger has previously created scents for Parfums Frederic Malle, Hermés, Marc Jacobs and Saint Laurent among others.
The limited-edition fragrance will be available in a one-of-a-kind bottle hand embellished by Greg Lauren himself.”
‘It was important to me that the bottle embody the spirit of my life in my art studio, One of my favorite things in the studio are the bottles of various mediums which I have had for years. The label is worn, sometimes torn or faded away…I’ve rewritten what it is, or what its become.’
Each bottle has the same feel but no two are exactly alike. ‘I wanted the bottle to feel special,’ says Lauren. ‘To do this I made the labels out of various materials. I used paper, fabric and even small scraps of vintage military fabrics. Then each has my hand-written name on a torn piece of classic masking tape. The labels are then stained with everything from coffee, ink, pencil and pastels.’
Greg Lauren for Barney’s New York will be produced in a limited-edition run of 3,000 and will retail for $195 for 100ml.”
