Kooshoo came to us with great enthusiasm and a strong desire to create a thoughtful brand experience for their line of environmentally responsible yoga accessories.
The ethos of Kooshoo to be charitable, sustainable, ethical and local inform all decisions during the design and manufacturing process, and so it was essential the branding and packaging was an extension of the same considerations.
One of our goals for the packaging was to have the packaging produce as little waste as possible. This was achieved in two ways. The first was to strip the packaging down to the essential components required to serve the brand and general display requirements. The second way to avoid waste was to ensure all packaging components are providing value to the consumer through information or delight. For example, one of the defining characteristics about Kooshoo is that each product can be worn a multitude of ways, allowing the wearer to reveal their personal style. To encourage experimentation, the hangtags contain style suggestions, with urls for more suggestions.
All packaging components are printed on Neenah Environment, made with 100% post-consumer recycled fiber.
