Packaging for a Scotch whisky and vermouth based drink that is barrel & bottle aged. The Bramble Bar Affinity Cocktail contains equal measures Glenmorangie 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Byrrh Grand Quinquina and Noilly Extra Dry Vermouth.

"The emphasis was on ‘modern old fashioned’ with inspiration taken from 19th Century bourbon and ‘snake oil’ bottles. Both often made outlandish claims and we’ve coupled this with our own outlandish text, all a little tongue in cheek. We know full well we’re not “World Famous…”

The bottles themselves were chosen for both financial reasons as well as effect. They are commonly used in the whisky industry as sample bottles and it was important the link was there visually and in purpose. The entire process from filling the barrels and bottles, wax sealing and stamping the bottles, to labelling the bottles is all done by hand. Plus hand writing the bottling date and barreling date.

The intention was to design a premium quality packaged and produced RTD (ready to drink) aged cocktail. With regards to the serve itself, the idea is the guest is given ownership of their drink, allowed to crack the bottle themselves and pour the chilled liquid undiluted into a frozen glass and over a cherry garnish, and finally twisting a lemon zest over the top of The Affinity."
