“A couple of Texas engineers realized that they had more in common than their chosen careers when they discovered a shared passion for distilled spirits. Unhindered by the lack of investment capital, the coworkers decided to build their own stills and formed Spirit of Texas. The start-up collaborated with Ampersand, a creative boutique in Austin TX to develop the brand and packaging system that positioned them as a company founded on the idea of independent spirit.”
