Identity for a bespoke collection of wines poking fun at the death of the wine cork.
“Scrucap is a collection of new world wines selected for LUX* Island Resorts by chief slurper Kent Scheermeyer. Having contributed to naming we designed a bold, contemporary logotype and a series of playful labels. Each label features a different illustration of a winged corkscrew floating to heaven, a witty suggestion that Scrucap wines render corkscrews redundant as they’re all sealed with screw caps (hence the name). The project also included label design for Popcap, a South African Cap Classique – the collection’s ‘bubbly’ one.”
