Student Spotlight: Stella

Editorial photographStella (Star in Greek) was the given brand name, and it had to represent high-end imported products from Greece.

"We had to find existing jars and bottles that would go well together, and then create labels for Olive Oil, Marinara Sauce and Honey - three very different products to wrap up under one sole identity. I chose to use a die cut instead of an image, as I wanted the actual content to be as visible as possible - it was high quality after all, and I wanted that reflected. The Typography has a modern and elegant feel, I used Avenir and Adobe Caslon Pro.  For the Identity I used a simplistic and elegant approach, all in a gold-ish colour, with the intention of highlighting the high-end aspect of the brand."
