Keeping up with the demands of the consumers and the international markets, Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo gourmet products have a brand new image.
"Quinta Nova is much more than Port and Douro DOC wines. A strong effort has been done to promote other local products, made with autochthonous raw materials. The result is the most complete range of gourmet products in the Douro Valley.
Quinta Nova’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil, made with traditional methods, is a result from manual olive picking and rigorous selection in olive varieties. Production is carried out respecting the original methods of production giving it a unique structure and flavour. It is the Quinta Novas’s bestselling product, followed by the exclusive jams of Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão grapes. These jams are produced with grapes from top quality vineyards, and respect the traditional Douro recipes. And they are extra jams due to the minimum 75% fruit content!
Quinta Nova’s portfolio also includes cherry and fig extra jams, quince jelly, honey, as well as olive leaf, vine leaf, lavender, prickled broom, Roman chamomile and heather tisanes.
With this re-stylling Quinta Nova starts the introduction of its gourmet products in international markets. The objective is to answer the demands of external markets for high quality and distinctive products, that are handmade and with no industrial process involved.
This brand new graphic image, developed by the Portuguese designer Rita Rivotti, reflects the richness of Portuguese traditional folklore, including its jewellery and lace heritage.
The objective is to emphasize the local tradition, paying respect to history and to the national heritage. This new image, lighter and more colourful than the previous one, will welcome all the consumers to the best that this land can produce."
