"Cameron Construction needed a way to get in with local oil refineries in order to be their construction company of choice. The focus was on the heads of these local companies, a quick Google search revealed that they were all men in their 50's who had a history of working with their hands. To cater to these men a very heavy duty wood box was hand crafted and laser engraved with a vintage representation of Cameron's core values. Inside the box is a leather tool roll marked with Cameron's logo containing a set of black anodized wrenches as well as room that they could add to the set with whatever tools they might want to carry with them. The wrenches were sent out one at a time to each of these refineries with a simple card drawing some mystery as to what Cameron had in mind and requesting a meeting. After 3 weeks of mailing wrenches all of the contacted refineries had responded and a salesman met them with the box and leather tool roll. This is the only time I have ever seen a 100% response from a direct mail campaign and we had more refineries calling and asking for a box in the following weeks."
