Packaging for Chef Jonathon Sawyer's Tavern Vinegar Company designed by Christine Wisnieski.

"Tavern Vinegar Company is a line of barrel and glass aged vinegars produced by Chef Jonathon Sawyer. Chef Sawyer recycles excess beer and wine, making it into vinegar that he uses in his restaurants and sells by the bottle. Due to the nature of small-batch production, the labels were designed to accommodate varying ingredients, short print runs and the likely possibility that additional vinegar types would be added. Taking cues from the chef's flagship restaurant, The Greenhouse Tavern, the packaging mixes crafty with modern featuring a 200ML glass flask and an off-center label. Each label contains a fermentation start date and batch number; giving a peek into Chef Sawyer's passion for crafting vinegar. The system includes one limited edition lemon and beer vinegar, produced especially for fundraising. The vinegars are currently available for purchase in multiple locations in Cleveland, Houston, Chicago, as well as on OpenSky."
