Every holiday season, Williams-Sonoma corners the giftable food market with their delectable parcels. Macchiatto has designed numerous holiday packages for the renowned retailer, including this retro collector tin for Moravian Ginger Spice Cookies. Their claim to be the thinnest cookie in the world must mean they can be eaten without guilt.
Macchiatto was asked to design a tin for Williams-Sonoma's Brownie Mix that is festive and quirky. Customized Art Deco type and stylized illustrations give this package an evocative and retro-modern feel.
Macchiatto designed these giftable containers for Williams-Sonoma's Waffle and Pancake Mix. Employing a nostalgic look and exploring new techniques in metal stamping, we created an elegant, yet witty tin worth keeping. The original scope was for one flavor, but upon its success, we designed three additional SKUs.
Byron Vineyard and Winery strives to be an audacious brand, built on character and tenacity. The consumer target for this masculine brand ranges from avid Pinot drinkers to affluent Millennials. Sterntaler Bakery came to Macchiatto with a tall order. They needed packaging for their traditional German cake that was giftable, shelf stable, easy to ship and cost effective, given their limited production run. Barbara’s has always made all natural, great tasting products. The problem was that consumers did not necessarily relate them with the natural foods market. Macchiatto rebranded their entire line, including designing packaging for 74 different products. The new look unites all of their products and positions them very competitively within the marketplace. The full scope included brand identity & standards, photo & illustration art direction, packaging design, business system, trade show booth, shipping truck graphics, signage and sales kit. Macchiatto continues to work with Barbara’s to develop new product packaging."
