Cosy Tea

“The brief was to create something that reflected the englishness about the brand, after working on the name of the company we had already set the foundations of how the brand and supporting packaging would look. The quintessential english tea cosy, synonymous with tea drinking. We took researched into knit patterns, yarns and methods and took guidance from elders and members of the W.I to ensure we understood the culture of knitting to some degree. Each pack we commissioned a pattern that reflected the fusion of the tea, sometimes in colour of yarn and sometimes with the pattern of the knit. The knit then layered over the master descriptor to give the impression each pack had a cosy on it!” Designed by Pencil Studio.
