WNew work from Rinks Canetti:
"The vision for the DeLeón Tequila packaging design was to address thedesires of an extremely discerning customer base, whose discriminatingpalette demands the only the highest quality products. We wanted tocreate a presentation that effortlessly blends together theauthenticity of the tequila’s Mexican heritage with the edge andsophistication of modern taste.
The beautifully crafted bottle is uniquelysquared, unusually heavy, and created by one of the finest glassmakersin the world. DeLeón’s trademark DL is subtly sandblasted on the frontas to not draw attention away from the perfection that rests inside. Theminimalistic bottle design gives emphasis to the tequila’s iconic metaltop, the master for which was hand-carved from a one-pound ball ofSterling silver.
There are currently two varieties of DeLeón available: the ‘Diamante’,which is already being hailed as the new benchmark for blanco tequila, and the ultra smooth ‘Reposado’. DeLeón's much anticipated Extra Añejois scheduled for release in the fall of 2009.
With limited quantities of DeLeón Tequila being bottled each year, initial distribution in the U.S. is limited to a few select sites inLos Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, and Miami. International cities willinclude Hong Kong, Dubai, Macau, San Tropez and Monte Carlo."
Two more after the jump.
